What We Do
Designing practical learning and leadership programs with women at the centre.
Our programs are designed to address educational gaps through community-led models that prioritize local ownership, sustainability, and inclusion—especially for girls and underserved youth. We strengthen rural communities by placing women and girls at the center of education, leadership, and local change.

Open Life Skills Learning Initiative
Status: In Development (2025– )
The Open Life Skills Learning Initiative is a flagship program of Enlightened India Foundation designed to make essential life skills education freely accessible to children, parents, teachers, and youth leaders across India.
The initiative focuses on building practical, easy-to-use learning resources in four core areas:
- Financial Literacy
- Digital Literacy & Online Safety
- Health, Wellbeing & Substance Abuse Prevention
- Gender Respect, Safety & Mental Wellbeing
Unlike traditional campaign-based models, this program creates open educational toolkits that can be used independently by schools and communities—without reliance on external facilitators.
Development began in 2025, with pilot modules currently being finalized for phased public release.
Perspective from Village Leadership
Reflections from local leadership on the impact of our community-led work.
“Enlightened India Foundation established the first dedicated activity centre in our village, creating a safe space where children learn computer skills, access learning materials, and participate in sports and reading activities. What makes this work special is that trained youth leaders from our own community manage the centre and run all programmes. We are proud to partner with an organisation that truly invests in our children’s future.”
